Charge your EV at NRMA Parks and Resorts

Holiday makers and EV drivers, take note! In another move to ensure EV owners can charge electric cars not only when on the road but also while enjoying NRMA Parks and Resorts, AC destination chargers are now ready to use at holiday parks throughout NSW, Queensland, Victoria and South Australia.

From Atherton Tablelands Holiday Park in Far North Queensland to Victor Harbor in South Australia, there are now more than 20 holiday parks and resorts with EV chargers either in front of cabins, or in communal areas.

Starting this summer, guests can arrive with kids and holiday gear in tow, plug in and charge up for free if renting a cabin with an EV charger, or for a fee if using communal EV chargers.

Providing an optimal travel experience for EV owners is high on NRMA’s agenda, so communal chargers can also be accessed by the public for a fee.

Most of the EV chargers have a top charge rate of 22kW that can add up to 130 driving range an hour. Keep in mind that how fast an EV charge depends on its internal charge rate limit.
