Modern Slavery Statement

The United Nations estimates that between 21 million and 49+ million people are trapped in some form of slavery today. Modern slavery practices include, domestic servitude, human trafficking, forced labour, bonded and child labour, and forced marriage. The Australian government enacted the Commonwealth Modern Slavery Act in 2018.

The Act requires all companies with a net consolidated revenue over a nominated amount to report annually through the production of a modern slavery statement on their efforts to minimise the practice across their operations and supply chains. Accepted Statements are published on the government’s Modern Slavery register. This can be located here.

The NRMA is committed to reducing the risk of modern slavery within our supply chains and business operations. Our FY24 Modern Slavery Statement has been published on the Modern Slavery Register and is available for review here.
